Darktrace, the world’s leading AI company for cyber defence has today announced that India’s top media organisation, Network 18, has deployed Darktrace’s AI technology to safeguard its intellectual property from sophisticated cyber-attacks.

As one of India’s largest media corporations, Network 18 manages a holistic business, including 73 broadcast channels, as well as leading online news portals and publishing brands. Network 18 runs the biggest news broadcast network in India through its subsidiary, TV-18 Broadcasts Limited, owning newsrooms and studios across the country. In an industry where the availability and exclusivity of content enables competitive advantage, the company decided to use Darktrace’s Enterprise Immune System to stay ahead of fast-moving cyber-threats.

Network 18 is the first media company in India to deploy Darktrace, joining a growing number of media firms that rely on Darktrace’s world-leading cyber AI, including Bunim/Murray and Kbro Inc.
