Updated statement regarding LockBit claims
We have completed a thorough security investigation following yesterday’s tweets by LockBit claiming they had compromised Darktrace’s internal systems. We can confirm that there has been no compromise of our systems or any of our affiliate systems. Our service to our customers remains uninterrupted and is operating as normal and no further action is required.

Statement regarding LockBit claims
Earlier this morning we became aware of tweets from LockBit, the cyber-criminal gang, claiming that they had compromised Darktrace’s internal security systems and had accessed our data. Our security teams have run a full review of our internal systems and can see no evidence of compromise. None of the LockBit social media posts link to any compromised Darktrace data. We will continue to monitor the situation extremely closely, but based on our current investigations we are confident that our systems remain secure and all customer data is fully protected.

Darktrace, the leader in Enterprise Immune System technology, is delighted to announce that Nicole Eagan, the company’s CEO, has won ‘Woman of the Year’ at the Cyber Security Awards 2016 ceremony held in London last night.
Judged by a panel of leading professionals from a plethora of industries, including executives from the City of London police, Kaspersky Lab, and the University of Warwick, this highly-esteemed award is confirmation of Nicole’s outstanding leadership at Darktrace.
Under Nicole’s direction Darktrace has seen phenomenal growth, with over 1,000 deployments in 20 countries and an increase in revenue of 500% year on year. The company has so far detected over 8,000 cyber incidents within its customers’ networks, including sectors from finance to energy & utilities.
Powered by machine learning and mathematics developed by specialists from the University of Cambridge, Darktrace’s self-learning technology is capable of detecting ‘unknown unknowns’ to help companies stay ahead of emerging cyber threats.
