Statement regarding LockBit claims
Earlier this morning we became aware of tweets from LockBit, the cyber-criminal gang, claiming that they had compromised Darktrace’s internal security systems and had accessed our data. Our security teams have run a full review of our internal systems and can see no evidence of compromise. None of the LockBit social media posts link to any compromised Darktrace data. We will continue to monitor the situation extremely closely, but based on our current investigations we are confident that our systems remain secure and all customer data is fully protected.

Darktrace Partners with Global Process Automation
Darktrace, the leader in Enterprise and Industrial Immune System technology, has today announced its partnership with Global Process Automation (GPA), an industry leader in distributed control systems, PLC applications, information technology, and cyber security.
Headquartered in Wilmington, NC, GPA employs over 40 engineers who have more than 30 years of experience in industrial controls, networks, and cyber security. The company’s integrated platform cross-correlates information from network devices, industrial sensors, geospatial data, CCTV feeds, and other open source data – which supports organizations in threat management and allows them to monitor, detect, and react quickly on the basis of real-time information analysis.
The new partnership will allow GPA’s customers to benefit from Darktrace’s innovative ‘immune system’ technology across both enterprise networks and sensitive critical infrastructure. Using unique machine learning and advanced mathematics developed by specialists from the University of Cambridge, Darktrace is able to detect subtle threats in some of the most complex digital environments across corporate networks, industrial control systems, and non-traditional information systems.
“At GPA, we take pride in delivering our OT and security expertise,” commented Roel Harsta, Managing Director, Global Process Automation. “We are excited to partner with Darktrace to deliver the most advanced threat detection technology to our customers. Darktrace’s machine learning capabilities are unparalleled – the ‘immune system’ approach is the clear answer to protect our customer’s critical assets.”
“Technology is revolutionizing operations in both the private and public sectors globally, but as a consequence, organizations are becoming more vulnerable to sophisticated attacks,” commented Rob Sass, Managing Director, North America. “We are proud to be collaborating with GPA to help defend its diverse and nationally critical-clientele. Darktrace’s self-learning technology is unique in its ability to provide early-threat detection and complete visibility across both enterprise networks and critical infrastructure environments like ICS and SCADA, without using rules, signatures, or prior assumptions.”
